家が仕事場であり、遊び場。食べたいときに食べ、眠たいときに眠る。そんな自由が家での時間を特別なものにしています。しかし時には、突然旅に出たくなる衝動に駆られます。
旅行は素晴らしい気分転換となり、新たな景色やにおいが、日常のリズムを変えてくれるのです。
東京など人やビルが多い場所は頭がジリジリしてしまい苦手だから、30分の移動で海や山に行けるトカイナカが理想。
行こうと思えばチャンスはあったけど、行かずじまいだった沖縄。何をするわけではないけれど、南国の空気を感じてみたい。
飛行機に乗っているときはいつもワクワクします。
空港はハイビスカスやプルメリアが飾られていました。
沖縄旅行
美ら海水族館
那覇から車で2時間くらい。車の窓から覗くと息をのむようなエメラルドの海が見えてきました
美ら海水族館に到着。（ 沖縄県国頭郡本部町）那覇市から車で2時間。
いきものの不思議
カラフル
カラフルだったり、目が光っていたり。生き物の不思議に出会いました。生き残るための生存適応。敵に見つからないためのカモフラージュ、独自のコミュニケーション。
公園やウミガメ、イルカショーもあるので子供連れなら1日中遊べると思います。
今度はどこに行こうか考えてる時間が最も楽しいです。

居酒屋さんで沖縄料理に挑戦。地元の料理はどうかな？

タコスライス
沖縄料理は本当に好き嫌いが分かれますね。私の場合、海ぶどう以外はおいしくいただきました。そしてサーターアンダギーがやめられない。思ったより甘め。沖縄の海ぶどうは、ぷちぷちとした食感が特徴ですが、その独特の風味は好みが分かれるところ。
感想は・・・・たらこ？筋子？ とても中途半端な味わいに感じられました。
北海道と沖縄、端と端の違いは海水や天候の違い、土も違うし、食物は育つ過程が違うので、食卓に並ぶものも当然異なりますね。苦手な食べ物があったとしても、異国の食文化を体験することは旅の醍醐味です。

カメラ買いました。ソニーアルファ6700。いろんな機能がバッチリ揃ってます。純正のレンズしか持ってないので、これからは揃えていくつもり。
English Ver. Okinawa Trip
Travel Diary
For me, home is both a workspace and a playground. The freedom to eat when I want and sleep when I feel like it makes my time at home truly special. Yet, there are times when a sudden urge to travel sweeps over me. Traveling offers a refreshing change, introducing new sights and scents that break the rhythm of daily life.
Unlike bustling cities like Tokyo, where the crowds and towering buildings make me feel overwhelmed, I prefer places where I can reach the sea or mountains within 30 minutes. Okinawa had always been on my mind, but I never got around to visiting it—until now. I wasn’t looking to do much, just wanted to soak in the tropical air.
The anticipation always builds when I’m on a plane.
At the airport, I was greeted by vibrant hibiscus and plumeria flowers.
Churaumi Aquarium
From Naha, it’s about a two-hour drive. As we approached, breathtaking views of the emerald sea came into sight. Arriving at Churaumi Aquarium, I was amazed by the wonders of marine life.
The colors, the glowing eyes—it was fascinating to see how creatures adapt to survive, using camouflage and unique communication methods. The aquarium also features a park, sea turtles, and dolphin shows, making it a great spot for families to spend the entire day. But it wasn’t just for kids; I found myself thoroughly enjoying it too.
While shopping on Kokusai Street, I bought a T-shirt, and the shopkeeper suggested visiting the outer islands next time. These islands seem to offer a serene escape, surrounded by endless blue—something I wouldn’t mind at all. I’ve never been fond of crowds and noisy places, so it might be just perfect for me. Planning the next destination is always the most exciting part.
Okinawan Cuisine
I ventured into a local izakaya to try some Okinawan dishes. How would the local cuisine fare?
I had sea grapes, a fish I didn’t recognize (I forgot the name), and taco rice. Everything was delicious, except the sea grapes—they’re an acquired taste. I also couldn’t resist the Sata Andagi, which was sweeter than I expected. Okinawan sea grapes have a unique texture, with a distinct flavor that not everyone will enjoy.
As for the taste… it reminded me of cod roe or salmon roe, but somehow lacking in flavor.
The differences between Hokkaido and Okinawa, from the seawater to the weather and even the soil, mean that the food we encounter at the table varies greatly. Even if there are dishes that don’t suit my palate, experiencing different food cultures is one of the joys of travel.
Camera Experience
I bought a new camera, the Sony Alpha 6700. It’s equipped with all the features I need, though I currently only have the standard lens. I’m planning to build up my collection.
