エリックサティ風、春が来た
今回は、童謡「春が来た」をエリック・サティ風にアレンジしてみました。
楽譜と音源も載せているので、ぜひ参考にしてください。
４拍子を３拍子にするだけでイメージがぐんと変わります。そんな小さなことからアレンジを始めてみると、ハードルが下がります。
アイディアの全てを自分から出さずに、〇〇風、のようにそちら側に寄せていくのもいいですね。
もちろんエリック・サティの曲を知らなければ少し難しいけれど。
そのほか、ベートーベン風、スーパーマリオ風、昭和歌謡風など、え？と思うようなスタイルにしても面白いと思います。あまり硬く考えず、アイディアだけを妄想したっていいじゃないですか。
自分ができそうなジャンルを見つけて、〜風の特徴を出してみてください。
あ、モノマネに似てるかもしれませんね。

お手本にしたのは「ジュ・トゥ・ヴ」という曲です。
編曲自体、大したことはしてないけど、なんとなく雰囲気が出てると思いませんか？

結局、今持っている服で十分だった
今日は天気が良かったので、ドライブがてら服を買いに行ったのですが、何も買わずにパラ〜っとだけ見て帰ってきました。
好きな服がなかったというのと、実はあんまり欲しいものがないんだなということに改めて気づきました。
手にとって、キレイな色で可愛い服があっても、似たようなものがあるぞ、と購買欲にブレーキがかかってしまい、買うのをためらってしまうんです。
それに、世の中の経済事情で仕方ないことだけど、買っても生地がペラペラですぐにほつれる・・
そんなことを考えてしまって、大した値段じゃない服でも、やっぱりいいやという気持ちになってしまいます。皆さんはどうですか？
そういえば、ひと昔前に買った服は、ヨレヨレっとせず、未だピンとした生地が多くてびっくり。捨ててしまわなくて良かったと思ってます。
洗濯してアイロンかけてまたまた登場させよう！
なんでもない日だけど、ハッピー
家で本を読んだり、音楽を作ったりするのが一番好き。これって質素？
質素な暮らしのうちに入ると思うけど、今後、もっと経済が悪くなって、今と同じような暮らしができなくても、私自身、そう困らないような気がします。
そもそも音楽をやれる人はそれだけで幸せなんだから。
しっかりドトールで休憩。おしゃれすぎるカフェに行くのはちょっと苦手でスタバかドトールが定番。
次回の内容はまだ決めていないけど、「少しのヒントで出来る創造的なピアノ」をお伝えしていきます。
そんなのやってたことも聞いたこともない！という人も、一歩一歩学んでみてください。きっと新しいピアノの世界を知ることが出来ると思いますよ。
なかなか芽が出てこなかったプロジェクトなのですが、ここでやっと花開きそうです。聞いてみてね。

Arranging “Haru ga Kita” in the Style of Erik Satie
This time, I arranged the Japanese children’s song “Haru ga Kita” (Spring Has Come) in the style of Erik Satie.
Just changing the meter from 4/4 to 3/4 can dramatically change the atmosphere of a piece. Starting with small ideas like this makes arranging feel much easier.
Instead of trying to create everything from scratch, it can be fun to approach music by thinking “in the style of…” something or someone.
Of course, if you’re not familiar with Erik Satie’s music, it might be a little difficult. But you could also try styles like Beethoven-style, Super Mario-style, or even Showa-era pop style. Sometimes the most unexpected ideas are the most interesting.
There’s no need to think too seriously about it. Even just imagining ideas can be a great start.
Try finding a style that feels doable for you and experiment with its characteristics.
Actually… it might be a little like musical imitation.

Arranging in the Style of Erik Satie
The piece I used as inspiration was “Je te veux.”
The arrangement itself is quite simple, but don’t you think it captures the atmosphere a little?
The C – Am chord progression gives it a nice feeling.
In the End, the Clothes I Already Have Are Enough
The weather was beautiful today, so I went for a drive and stopped by a clothing store.
But in the end, I didn’t buy anything. I just looked around for a bit and went home.
Partly because I didn’t find anything I really liked, but also because I realized something again:
I don’t actually want that many new things anymore.
Even when I pick up a cute dress in a beautiful color, I often think,
“Wait… I already have something similar.”
Then my desire to buy it quietly fades.
Of course, it’s understandable given the current economic situation, but sometimes the fabric of new clothes feels quite thin and fragile.
So even if the price isn’t very high, I end up thinking,
“Maybe I don’t need it after all.”
How about you?
Interestingly, some clothes I bought many years ago still have strong, beautiful fabric and haven’t lost their shape. I’m really glad I didn’t throw them away.
Maybe it’s time to wash them, iron them, and wear them again.
An Ordinary Day, but a Happy One
On ordinary days like this, I enjoy staying home, reading books, and composing music.
Does that sound simple?
It probably counts as a simple lifestyle.
But even if the economy becomes worse in the future and life changes, I feel like I personally wouldn’t struggle too much.
After all, being able to make music already feels like a gift.
I also stopped by Doutor Coffee for a break.
I’m not very comfortable in overly stylish cafés, so I usually go to Starbucks or Doutor.
What’s Next
I haven’t decided on the next topic yet, but I’d like to share ideas about
“creative piano playing with just a few simple hints.”
Some people may think,
“I’ve never heard of anything like that.”
But if you take it step by step, you might discover a completely new world of piano.
This project took a long time to grow, but I feel like it’s finally starting to bloom.
